Splitawav was written by the author of Addawav. It is written for splitting up LPs into tracks, and spots the track breaks automatically. It is very simple to use. You can configure the time interval, and calibrate the noise levels, but in 95% of cases, this is not necessary, filenames are automatically chosen. Settings are remembered. It can normalize tracks, directly record and split audio, trim leading silence, and remove clicks. It has a "live unclick" option to listen to records, without making any files, and have annoying clicks and pops removed, with a controllable slider bar..

SplitAWav 1.6 was released by Geoff Phillips on Sunday 18 July 2004. Its known requirements are : Pentium 500Mhz recommended.
SplitAWav will run on Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000 and Windows NT.
